Dear 91传媒在线 Students,
91传媒在线 will be offering students additional opportunities to receive the Johnson & Johnson one-shot COVID-19 vaccine throughout the month of April.
Beginning this Thursday, April 15, and continuing through the end of the month, 91传媒在线 will be holding morning vaccination clinics every Tuesday and Thursday at the 91传媒在线 Ice Arena, 650 Loop Road, Kent, OH 44242.
The vaccinations are part of a program announced by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine that provides Johnson & Johnson one-shot COVID-19 vaccines for free to students. Any 91传媒在线 student who is 18 or older may schedule an appointment to receive a vaccination.
Appointments remain available for today (April 12) and tomorrow (April 13) for students wishing to receive a vaccination at the ice arena. Students may register to receive the vaccination on the Kent Campus at or by calling 330-672-2525.
Students may also schedule an appointment to receive a one-shot vaccination on April 19 at the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities Whipple-Dale Centre, 2950 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708. Students may register on the .
We strongly encourage all students to get vaccinated. The Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccine is ideal for students who will leave campus by the end of spring break and will not return when classes resume fully remote on April 19. Residence hall students may choose to extend their stay to take advantage of this opportunity. The extended-stay option will allow students to remain in their residence hall until April 24, beyond the scheduled April 17 checkout, and will be at no cost to students. Further details will be provided in the confirmation email once vaccine registration is complete.
Students should not schedule a vaccination if they are experiencing COVID symptoms, are currently in isolation for COVID or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID who is quarantined.
Updated registration and vaccination information, including opportunities to receive a vaccination at a Regional Campus, is available on the 91传媒在线 vaccination page.
We want to thank everyone for your continued efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Sincerely,
Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D.
