91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß has partnered with Parchment to provide an official, certified, electronic transcript! This is a secure and environmentally-friendly delivery method to students, employers, agencies, and other institutions (Ohio non-public, non-Ohio and for graduate admission).

• First-time users will need to create an account, whether ordering your own academic record or ordering on behalf of someone else.
• Electronic transcripts are sent as secure PDFs and must be accessed within 30 days. After downloading, they remain available to the recipient permanently.
• Transcript convenience fees are $10 per transcript plus tax. This is a nonwaivable fee.
• Parchment also offers paper transcripts through a print and mail service.  The requestor should provide the recipient’s name (individual and/or organization) and an accurate mailing address.
• 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß no longer withholds transcripts for account balances.  Students with a hold are encouraged to contact the Financial, Billing, and Enrollment Center for assistance with their hold. 

Current Students and Recent Graduates

Final grades and degree postings do not appear on official transcripts until the end of the term. To find processing dates, please visit Grades and Transcript Processing Dates. Please order official transcripts after the processing dates to ensure that final grades and degree postings will be included. If you have any questions, please email transvc@kent.edu.

• Students can choose recipient options in a drop-down selection as a matter of convenience or type specific email address of their choice for individuals, businesses or institutions on the order request. Most educational institutions included on the list, the transcript will be routed to their admissions office. If you have a specific contact person and their email, you should provide their name and email address for the recipient information.
• The electronic transcript reflects official grade and degree information at the time the request is processed.
• Students can also access Parchment by logging in to FlashLine. Click on Request Official Transcript in the Student Category / Resources / Grades and Transcripts Section. Click on Request Official Transcript.
• 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß does not issue unofficial transcripts.  Official transcripts are provided by Parchment.  Only current students can view an unofficial version of their transcripts by logging into FlashLine.  Click on View Unofficial Transcript in the Student Category / Resources / Grades and Transcripts Section.

Former Students

• Former students who cannot access FlashLine will need to create an account with Parchment. A personal email address can be used to create the account.  If you already have an existing Parchment account, you can log in to request your transcript.

Third-Party

If you are a third-party ordering on behalf of a student, you can order an electronic transcript or paper transcript through Parchment. 

• Third parties are also required to pay $10 per transcript plus tax. This is a nonwaivable fee.
• A hold may be placed on a transcript order if further record research is required. The order will take longer than normal processing times. If a message is received that an order is on hold, an inquiry can be sent to transvc@kent.edu.
• Be prepared to upload a proper release of information from the student, which meets our institutional FERPA requirements.
• Be prepared to provide the following information: Student's full name, date of birth, KSU Student ID.
• For third-party order inquiries, please email transvc@kent.edu.

Other

• Federal Investigators requesting a transcript should email transvc@kent.edu for assistance. A hold may be placed on a transcript order if further record research is required, which may extend processing times. If you receive a notification that your order is on hold, you may inquire by contacting transvc@kent.edu.
