Dexter, 91传媒在线's newest officer and explosive-detection canine, was introduced to the university community on Nov. 19. A male Belgian Malinois, Dexter is ready to patrol 91传媒在线 and neighboring communities alongside his handler Officer Miguel H. Witt.
Beginning fall 2027, Bio-Med Science Academy will relocate its grades K-6 programs to 91传媒在线鈥檚 Schwartz Center. The Schwartz Center, which opened in 1956 as the home of the 91传媒在线 School, a laboratory school that served generations of student teachers, will return to its original purpose as a school building.
91传媒在线鈥檚 Board of Trustees approved a new partnership between the university and Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School that will bring new life to the underutilized Michael Schwartz Center building while providing the public STEM school with a state-of-the-art facility for its elementary grades. The Board鈥檚 vote of approval came during its regular quarterly meeting held Dec. 11.
In the newly released rankings, 91传媒在线 is once again the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio, and with its impressive national ranking of No. 129, the university continues to be recognized among the Top Public Schools in the nation.
