Dress up for Downs 2024 Fashion Event

IN A FLASH: Dressing up for Downs

Dress Up for Downs, a 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß student organization recently held its 8th annual fashion show fundraiser . The event, themed "Hollywood Heroes," featured a runway show with designs by 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß fashion design students and raised over $3000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio.

Jessica Jones, associate lecturer of English at 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß at Stark, led a Q&A session touching on Blaeser’s new poetry collection, initiatives and inspiration.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 with a poster presentation to allow international students the chance to highlight women in their home countries and a service project to aid Days for Girls.

The poster presentation was followed by a panel discussion of students, faculty and staff talking about women’s issues and successes across their globe.
