Transgender Students Find Home, Security and Support at 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß

For transgender students like Emily Grubb, 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is home.

Grubb and other students have found an inclusive, welcoming environment that offers resources for the transgender community, such as the student organization Trans*Fusion and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Center. Transgender students also receive support from 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s faculty, staff and administrators.

Students Turn Smartphone Cases Into Lifesaving Medical Devices

Three 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß students have created smartphone cases that contain vital medication. 

Together, with the help of LaunchNET 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, the three created Case.MD. Ariella Yager, entrepreneur major in 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s College of Business Administration; Samuel Graska, cell and molecular biology major in 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s College of Arts and Sciences; and Justin Gleason, graduate student in 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design spent more than a year planning, inventing, designing and 3-D printing smartphone cases that contain vital medication. Wherever your smartphone goes, so does the medication.
