The first phase of the Summit Street: Building a Better Way Improvement Project is complete, with the opening of Ted Boyd Drive. The roadway alongside the Student Recreation and Wellness Center reopened last week, making the roundabout at Ted Boyd and Johnston drives fully operational.

The Kent Campus may experience power interruptions due to turbine testing on Friday, Nov. 11.
91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß generates a large portion of the power used on the Kent Campus. The university will be testing the turbines to check on the reliability and operation of control and distribution systems. This exercise tests the turbines’ ability to power the Kent Campus without being connected to the Ohio Edison power grid.

91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
